- Second battery, split charging and monitoring system to power the fridge, winch and other goodies - leaving the other one to only start the engine
- Engel fridge - in place of the single rear seat
- Long range fuel tank
- Roof rack - altered to allow exit through the sun roof to allow game watching from the roof.
- Wiring from auxilary battery to rear of vehicle for accessories etc
- Blocking off rear windows to provide, with a barrier behind the rear seats, a secure area.
- Awning on near side of vehicle so that it can be used when pulling to the side of the road for lunch, etc.
In addition, the following major equipment was fitted:
- a winch that could be mounted either at the front or the back.
- other recovery equipment included a high lift jack, tow ropes and snatch block
- extra Cibie driving lights - left over from early boy racer days.
